4. In how many ways data flow can takes place?
There are three modes of data flow. They are
1. Simplex - only one of the two devices on a link can transmit, other can only receive. E.g. Keyboard Monitors.
2. Half duplex – each station both can transmit and receive, but not at same time. E.g. walkie – talkies and CB (Citizen Band) radios.
3. Full duplex – both station can transmit and receive simultaneously. E.g. telephone network.
